Koinonia is the English form of a Greek word that means "fellowship." We use this term for our afternoon meeting to communicate the idea that we are a fellowship of Christian believers. We share a meal together every week after our morning worship service (much like the first Christians were eating together day by day and week after week). Then, we enjoy Koinonia. Instead of being fellowship around food, Koinonia is fellowship around the Word of God (true bread from Heaven).
In our Koinonia time, we ask questions about the Bible and about the sermon we have heard together. We offer testimonies about how God is at work in our lives and how his word is guiding us. We encourage one another and challenge one another in the way of Christ. We would love for you to join us if you are interested in a community of faith sharing the love of God together.
